SONIDO PESAO
Opening the show will be Sonido Pesao, whose spirited eclectic music marries Latin rap, cumbia, reggaeton, electro and all. These veterans of the Montreal-Latin music scene have worked with Rebecca Lane, KNLO, GKO and Andrés Oddone.

RAMÓN CHICHARRON
Next up is Colombian-born multi-instrumentalist Ramón Chicharron, who blends a uniquely Montreal style of cumbia, champeta, salsaton and Latin hip-hop. His album Pescador de sueños was nominated for the GAMIQ 2020 Awards and is currently a nominee for the ADISQ 2021 in the category World Music Album of the Year.

Two sets, guest artists and performances
Each evening, NORTÉ TROPICAL will present a double bill with no headliners: two bands and their guest artists merging on stage at the end of the evening creating a unique performance experience for the audience’s pleasure. Interludes between sets will be hosted by a Latina guest DJ.
