For a 5th consecutive year with Suoni Per IL Popolo,Traquen’Art is proud to invite you to a creative music meeting on June 19 to 21 and 26.

Trio 3, a reunion of jazz veterans Oliver Lake (reed), Reggie Workman (bass) and Andrew Cyrille (drums), present, on June 19, its original compositions. On June 20, the trio of Han Bennink, talented drummer, Terrie Ex, experimental guitarist and Brodie West, alto saxophonist, propose a fusion defying all classification between improvisation rock and free jazz. On June 21, Ig Henneman Sextet, an international formation led by violonist Ig Henneman with Ab Baars (saxophone, clarinet and shakuhachi), Wilbert de Joode (bass), Lori Freedman (bass clarinet), Marion Lerner (piano) and Axel Dorner (trompet).

On June 26, a bonus off-festival double concert: Maya Homburger (Switzerland) accompanied by her baroque violon, Barry Guy (G-B), Lucas Niggli (Switzerland) open this evening followed by The Hexen Trio composed of bass player, composer and conductor Barry Guy, piano veteran Paul Plimley (Vancouver) and drummer Lucas Niggli.
